Camille Coton’s Soft Microdermabrasion Scrub And Bloom Balm Oil Serum

Jeanne gives a video review of Camille Coton’s Soft Microdermabrasion Scrub and Bloom Balm Oil Serum.

Hi Ladies, Jeanne here with a product review for Hunting Pretty. Today I picked Camille Coton to review. It’s a plant based skincare line, based here in the great state of Texas.

I first met Lisa, the founder of Camille Coton, at the Indie Beauty Expo in Dallas, Texas. Lisa has a long history in the beauty industry. She helped formulate for brands such as Estee Lauder, and Mary Kay, for about 17 years.

Lisa decided, after a while, that she really enjoyed the creative aspect of formulating, more than the corporate aspect.  Which I can very much relate to, Lisa. When Lisa decided to leave the corporate world and start her own brand, she had a couple of priorities. She wanted to make a natural brand, that’s plant based using extracts and oils. She also wanted to create a natural product that’s as effective as any conventional line. Her natural ingredients were inspired by her upbringing on a West Texas cotton ranch.

Microdermabrasion is great for sensitive skin

A lot of the traditional exfoliators I’ve used on the market are pretty harsh on my skin. I’d say I have medium-sensitive skin. They use pretty abrasive elements to just rip off all the dead skin. Lisa’s microdermabrasion cream is incredibly gentle, but super effective. It’s really easy to use. I use it a couple times a week. You apply the cream all over, leave for a couple minutes, and then just wipe away. I saw pretty immediate effects with the cream. I definitely saw that I was exfoliated. My make up went on smoother, so I knew that a lot of my dry skin had been removed. And I noticed that my pores were clearing up pretty quickly.

The second product Lisa made is an oil serum. This also uses her patented cotton extract formulation. The serum is really to moisturize, hydrate, tone, and it also helps with hyper-pigmentation. You use the serum after you’ve used the microdermabrasion cream. And I use it in place of a moisturizer. As a beauty buyer, I’m pretty much looking at product every single day, and a lot of spreadsheets. That part, I don’t so much enjoy.

I decided that when I was going to do these video product reviews, that I just wanted to review product that I truly love, so that I could bring it to people quicker. I picked Camille Coton to review because I saw an immediate effect on my skin. The product is affordable, and the formulation is amazing. That’s all due to Lisa’s creativity, intelligence, and experience as a formulator. I hope you guys enjoyed this review of Camille Coton.
